Savour the Pacific: A Discovery of Taste - by Annebel Langvein, et al - A book with a fresh feel, the recipes mostly refreshing, light and easy to make, some travelog, many pictures, some information on ingredients and Pacific Island life style - a little bit of this a little bit of that, still the recipes are very good. Many of the recipes in Savour the Pacific are the kind I look for when I have, say, bananas, fish, mangos, eggplant and coconut and wondering what different to make with it all. Kinda what Sam Choy says, look around to see what you have then cook - which is true island Style. |
